Located at HMAS Watson is Building 8, the Administration Building and the main Headquarters of the base. Building 8 is regarded as highly important as it houses the XO, CO, BSOP, etc. and also contains Armoury alarms sensitive to excessive vibration. Building 12 is the Wardroom Building, which provides the use of Officers’ Accommodation, Wardroom Gallery, Ostrowski Room and Captains Caddy. This project entailed the repairs and maintenance to Building 8 and 12 as they are deteriorating and in need of repair and refurbishment. CPG understood this project required dedicated and specific subcontractors to complete certain different phases of the works. A total external refurbishment of Building 8 was required along with a complete renovation of all Ablutions within the building. Building 12 entailed the restoration and complete makeover of Ablutions, both male and Female, Unisex Bathrooms and also the Male and Female Change Rooms.
